RIDE NAME:                       Wingello Forest Ride      

RIDE BASE ADDRESS:      Martins Road, Wingello (if using a navigation system, put in Wingello Railway Station, and then the venue, to avoid being directed down an impassable road).  It is safer to follow the ride base arrows from Wingello.

DIRECTIONS:      From the north, travel south on the Hume Highway, and continue for 10km south of the Shell McDonalds Service Centre at Sutton Forest.  Cross over Paddys River and then turn left into Murrimba Road.  Follow this for approx. 7km, then do a left-right dogleg over the railway line and turn right onto Railway Parade.  Then take first left into Forest Road and follow the signs to the Ride Base.

HOW TO ENTER

Bookings through www.trybooking.com/BPSND by 9pm Monday 17th May.  A late fee of $35 applies to all bookings after this.

THE TRACK

The course cannot be designed until 2 weeks prior to the event.  Details will be provided on the event website and event facebook page when available.

RIDE BASE INFORMATION
A grassed paddock located adjacent to the forest.  There are no fixed services or powered sites.  There is a camping fee of $10 per horse staying overnight at the ride base.  The fee includes up to 2 nights.

Horse water will be provided by tanks and troughs placed around the campsite.  These will be re-filled by the RFS as required.  The RFS is no longer able to fill water at individual campsites.  Please be patient and respectful at water points, and treat the RFS volunteers with the utmost courtesy throughout the event.  If you want to offer your horses a drink on arrival, bring it with you to avoid stress.

CATERING

On-site catering – two food outlets: The Wingello Village Store and the exciting new Flavours by Dee.  Menus and prices will be on the event website.
