Entry Information –

  • A COVID-19 Safety Plan will be sent out with your confirmation nomination email or you can go onto our website at bullio.net to make sure that you are fully conversant with what is required.
  • We ask that people resource themselves as much as possible with their own alcohol hand washes. If possible, bring your own portable toilets. We will, of course, have single use portable toilets on site.
  • Due to attendance restrictions, once the cap of 500 total (including volunteers) has been reached, nominations will close. Please keep attendees in your camp to a minimum to ensure nominations can be accepted.
  • COVID-19 Declarations will be collected at the Front Gate.
    • In line with COVID-19 Safety Plan we ask people to socially distance by 1.5m where possible and to maintain hand hygiene.
    • Please stay home if you are sick or have been sick within 14 days of the event.
    • Please do not attend the event if you have been in a known COVID-19 hot spot (see nsw.health.gov.au) or near people who are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Compulsory Nominations and payments for all events will only be accepted via Manehub at bullio.net
  • Have all documents completed and signed prior to coming to the Secretarial Office.

There will be no pens available at the Secretarial office in accordance with our COVID-19 Safety Plan

  • CEI One Star & Two Star riders wishing to change the CEI event entered or to add reserve horses and riders to their entries must notify the Ride Secretary at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by 25th October so that qualifications can be verified with Equestrian Australia (FEI).
    • Changes from CEI* to CEI** will be not be accepted at the event unless qualifications of horses and/or riders have been verified by EA/FEI.
    • Refunds will not be processed until after the event.

  • Dinner tickets (two courses) - $20 per head and purchased via Manehub nomination site only.
    • Tickets to be picked up at the secretarial office at pre-ride entry.
    • As at time of writing, Saturday night dinner will be take-away only due to COVID-19 restrictions.
    • “Happy Hour” will be limited to social distancing and will again be determined by C-19 restrictions at the time

Course & Vetting Information –

  • FEI One Star & Two Star Schedule available bullio.net and on FEI Calendar Database data.fei.org
  • All Course Information for all events will be in a Ride Booklet available at bullio.net in due course and will be handed out to entrants.
    • Depending on COVID-19 restrictions at the time of the Event, the ride booklet may form part of the Pre Ride Talk.
    • Note Arrow Colours, Leg Lengths, and Hold times
    • Suggest you print off the relevant course details for the ride you are entering

 

  • The winner of the Matar Stables Bullio Cup will be the first successful CEI** Open or 120km AERA Middleweight or Heavyweight rider.
  • The 120km **; 100-120km Elevator; 100km *;  and AERA 80km rides will all be run under Vet Gate Into Hold procedures. 
    • Pulse rates - 64bpm in 15mins; and 64bpm in 20mins at the final vet check.
    • Hold Times – 45mins each leg
  • The Intermediate (40km) will be run as a single leg under AERA 30 minute vetting procedures. Pulse Rate 55bpm.
  • All Endurance and Intermediate horses will complete their pre-ride entries and vetting on Friday, 30th

Camping & Ride Base Info –

  • Black Apron Catering will be catering for the event all weekend. Great meals and snacks, coffee and beverages.
    • Catering will commence 8.30am Friday 30th Oct and will be open at the start of the ride Saturday 31st Oct at 1am.
  • Bring own drinking water. Horse water supplied at the ride base
  • If bringing the “hound”, make sure it’s securely tied up at all times or on a short leash.
  • Portable toilets only. No showers available at the Ride Base but we are making enquiries into those available at the Orange Showground (approx. 20mins drive into Orange) pending the COVID-19 restrictions.
    • We will have supplies of alcohol hand wash but ask people to also bring their own supplies
    • If possible, bring own portable toilets in line with COVID-19 suggestions

We are in unique times at present.  However, CERC’s aims and philosophy remain true to showcasing our sport to all that attend, the local region and beyond our borders.  We remain true to being inclusive of all those that attend so that it is enjoyable and fun for all.
