HOW TO ENTER

Pre-nominations via the Nominations site on www.bullio.net/bullio-cup.  Pre-nominations will close of 1 November 2018 for the AERA rides.  Entries will be taken at the ride on Saturday 3 November; however, AERA members will be charged a late fee of $20.  Late fee will not apply to Day Members.

 

Entries for the introductory rides (20km, 5-10km) ONLY can also be taken on Sunday 4 November commencing at 7am.

 

Entries for the CEI* ride will close on 29 October 2018.  After this date NO FURTHER entries will be accepted for this ride.

 

THE TRACK

The course will travel through the Canobolas State Forest and grazing country. The topography is undulating with good going and a few short, steeper climbs. Those attempting the 80km rides are advised to have their horses prepared with some fitness. The course is achievable and very enjoyable.

 

80km events will be run under vet gate into hold vetting procedures and will consist of 3 legs.
40km & 20km ride will be one leg with normal 30 minute hold at the end.
5-10km ride will have the option of completing either 5kms or 10kms with a normal 30 minute hold at the end.

 

The overall winner of the Matar Stables Bullio Cup will be the first MWT or HWT rider from either the AERA or CEI* event. Buckles will be awarded to all successful 80km riders in both events plus great prizes to 3rd Place in each Division of the AERA and CEI rides.

 

RIDE BASE:
*No powered sites

The ride base is in a paddock located on Four Mile Creek Road, Canobolas NSW 2800 approx 23kms from the centre of Orange. Direction maps can be found on www.bullio.net/bullio-cup

 

There will be water for horses but bring human drinking water. Canteen will be operating all weekend and will have basic bbq meals for evening Saturday meal. All dogs must be on leads at all times.

 

Bio-security Requirements
• All horses from non-hendra risk zones must complete a 3 day temperature log
• All horses attending from Hendra Risk Zones must complete a 10 day temperature log
